fa گزارش اثرمهارکنندگی مقاومت به آنتی‌بیوتیک نیتروفورانتویین در ترکیبات فرار گیاه <i>Mentha longifolia</i> L. فارماكوگنوزی و فارماسيوتيكس Pharmacognosy & Pharmaceutics پژوهشی Research <div style="text-align: justify;">مقابله با پدیده مقاومت دارویی در راستای کاهش بروز مقاومت‌های جدید و یا محدود نمودن عوامل میکروبی مقاوم از اهمیت بسیار زیادی برخوردار است. کشف آنتی‌بیوتیک‌های جدید و یا ساخت مشتقات نیمه‌صناعی جدید موثر بر عفونت‌های مقاوم از عمده‌ترین اهداف برنامه‌های توسعه و تحول داروهای موثر در درمان بیماری‌های عفونی محسوب می‌گردد. امروزه یک راه حل جانشین در درمان عفونت‌های مقاوم مطرح شده که عبارت است از مصرف آنتی‌بیوتیک به همراه عوامل از بین برنده مقاومت که مقاومت عوامل بیماری‌زا را نسبت به آنتی‌بیوتیک‌های شناخته شده از بین می‌برند. ‌در مطالعه غربال‌سازی نمونه‌های گیاهی به منظور دست یافتن به اثر مهار کنندگی مقاومت انتروباکتریاسه‌ها به نیتروفورانتویین مشخص گردید ترکیبات فرار گیاهی از گونه نعنا می‌تواند این اثر را در شرایط In vitro بروز دهد. در مطالعات گیاه‌شناسی این گیاه) (<em>Mentha longifolia</em> شناسایی شد که ترکیبات فرار رقیق شده آن در حضور نیتروفورانتویین قادر است از رشد باکتری‌های مقاوم اشرشیا، کلبسیلا، پرتئوس، سالمونلا، سیتروباکتر، سراشیا و انتروباکتر جلوگیری نماید در حالی که صرفاً خود این ترکیبات فرار رقیق شده ممانعتی برای رشد باکتری‌های مذکور ایجاد نمی‌نماید.</div> <div style="text-align: justify;">Bacterial resistance to antibiotics has emerged over the past decades as a major health problem. The challenge of antibiotic resistance has generally been met in two ways: through the discovery of completely novel antibiotics and by the use of derivatives of known antibiotics frequently prepared by semisynthetic methods to overcome existing resistance mechanisms. An alternative to these two pathways towards new therapies as a response to antimicrobial resistance is the development of inhibitors of resistance mechanisms. In this approach, the antibiotic is co-administered with an inhibitor that neutralizes the resistance mechanism and allows the antibiotic to affect microbial growth, even in resistant organisms. We have screened some plant extracts and essential oils for their nitrofurantoin breaker activity. In our investigation the ethanolic diluted essential oil of the aerial parts of <em>Mentha longifolia</em> were found to have nitrofurantoin resistance breaker activity against numerous nitrofurantoin resistances Entherobacteriaceae.
