fa مروری بر گیاه هوفاریقون (L. <i>Hypericum perforatum</i>) گياهان دارویی Medicinal Plants مروری Review <div style="text-align: justify;">هوفاریقون با نام علمی L. <em>Hypericum perforatum</em> یک گیاه علفی دایمی از خانواده Hypericaceae است که بومی غرب اروپا، آسیا و شمال آفریقا می‌باشد. اهمیت این گیاه در چند سال اخیر به عنوان یک داروی گیاهی به خصوص برای درمان افسردگی ملایم تا متوسط به طور قابل توجهی افزایش یافته است. ترکیبات موثر اصلی این گیاه شامل هیپرفورین (یک فلوروگلوسینول پرنیله شده) و هیپریسین (یک نفتودیانترون) می‌باشد. البته ترکیبات موثر بیولوژیکی دیگری نظیر فلاونویید و تانن نیز در این گیاه وجود دارد. هرچند هیپریسین به عنوان یک ترکیب کلیدی در اندازه‌گیری کیفیت و ارزیابی هوفاریقون مورد استفاده قرار می‌گیرد ولی مطالعات اخیر نشان داده که هیپرفورین ممکن است عامل ضدافسردگی این گیاه باشد. به هر حال، هوفاریقون یک گیاه پرفروش است که دارای جایگاه ارزشمندی در بازارجهانی می‌باشد.</div> <div style="text-align: justify;"><em>Hypericum perforatum</em> L., also known St. John&#39;s wort, is a herbaceous perennial belonging to Hypericaceae family that is a native of Western Europe, North Africa, and Asia. The importance of this plant as a phytopharmaceutical, especially for treatment of mild to- moderately severe depression, has significantly increased in the last few years. The major active constituents are considered to be Hypericin (a naphtodianthrone) and Hyperforin (a prenylated phloroglucinol), although other biologically active constituents eg. Flavoneids and tannins are also present. However, Hypericin is utilized as the key compound in measuring the quality of St.Johns wort and is typically used as the measure of extract potency, although recent studies indicated that hyperforin may be the antidepressive agent in St. John&#39;s wort.
